The advantage with anchor line

The anchor line is manufactured of very strong polyester and is
impregnated against water absorption. It is nice to handle. The
break point is as much as 3 metric tons (stronger than an 8 mm
chain). The anchor line also give you smother effect in the
water which means a softer anchoring and mooring.

New patented free fall clutch

Windlass 500

Completely mechanical free fall clutch without electronics. Could
easily manually be freed/locked when there is an eventual
electronic break.

New transmission

Because the efficiency of the new transmission is 90%,

(compared to a traditional transmission with only half of that)

this windlass has a much higher pull effect in proportion to the

power of the engine, which means that this windlass takes

extremely little currency.

Automatic stop

With the automatic stop function the anchor’s first stop is in the parking position, where it stops automatically.

Digital counting unit

With the digital counting unit (optional) you can control the

anchoring from the cockpit and control the length of the anchor

let out when you are approaching the shore. Even when you

are winching in the anchor you will be able to see on the

display when the anchor is coming up so you can be

prepared to go, which means safer handling.
